Looking down or up at your monitor will strain your neck and may lead to headaches and excessive neck tension. 2. ELBOWS: Ensure your elbows are close to your waist and body when typing. Pulling your chair close to your computer and/or pulling your keyboard closer to your body will prevent tendonitis. 3. KNEES: Avoid crossing your legs when sitting. Your ideal chair height should allow your knees to be at ninety degrees when sitting.
